Day 6 - Loveland Ski Area
February 22nd

Our final day of skiing brought us to Loveland. A great finale to the ski week. Loveland is located at the continental divide, right next to and over the Eisenhower tunnel. A foot of snow had fallen since the 21st, giving perfect deep powder conditions. Temperatures were in the upper 20's to lower 30's. Chris Bradford and I skied today (Betsy took a break).

Looking up towards the continental divide. The tunnel is about 500ft behind the building.
Another view, looking to the left of the above picture. Here, you can see the Yan triple chair. The world's highest quad chair is located in the snowfields on the upper right.
A view of some experts trails served by a Yan double chair.
