Thanks to Leslie and Garry Schneider, we now know of this ski area that operated in Winterport, Maine. Here are their details:

We used to live in Winterport, Maine.  There was a former ski area in that town called Snow Mountain. It was operating when we first moved there in 1972 and folded up a few years later.  Do not recall what it had for a lift, probably a rope tow but nothing comes to mind.

Brian O'Malley found this information in a Ski Maine Publication:

Located: 13 miles south of bangor, off rt 1a
Lifts: 2,350' tbar
Trails: 2 slopes, 10 trails
Facilities: ski shop, rentals

And the book First Tracks by Glenn Parkinson now indicates that this area was built in the 1960's.

Has anybody else skied here, or remember any more details?

Here is the Microsoft Terraserver image for the area. Notice the extensive development of trails, although they have grown up considerably. This type of network is consistent with a T-bar. The vertical, was probably in the neighborhood of 400-500ft.
