Thanks to Jeff Arrison, we now know about this area in Corning. Here are his details:
Half a mile up the road from Addison is Corning Community Junior College. During the early 1970s, they ran a teeny, tiny rope tow of maybe 100 yards long. It had no lodge, no buildings, and no safety group, but we liked it. Then in approximately 1976 it closed down because of lack of use, and lack of snow.
