Rocky Mountain

Thanks to Lyman Ross, we now know of this area that operated in Newton Falls. Here are his details:

According to my father two short lived ski areas preceded the one in Star Lake . The second was in Newton Falls , NY on the west side of Rocky Mountain (known locally as Big Cliff). My father learned to ski there in the early 40’s. It succumbed in part to its site and in part to the war.
