New Hampshire State Library Skiing Photos

Thanks to Donna DuSell, Program Assistant at the NH State Library, we present some terrific skiing photos from New Hampshire's past. These were promotional photos and show some rare and unique views of open and closed NH ski areas. We'll be adding photos here gradually over time. Click on each thumbnail for a larger image.

Mt. Sunapee

An aerial shot of Mt. Sunapee, taken at some point in the 1960's. Notice the original crossing double lift lines. Also notice the original Flying Goose expert trail, which at that time, was a twisty trail through the woods. Today, its a wide slope, with the North Peak Triple right up it.

Another aerial shot of the mountain, likely early 1960's. Photo by Robert Swenson.
