Rutland Jr. College operated a small rope tow inbetween Rutland and Castleton. This was found in a ski article in Vermont Life entitled "Ski Vermont" in the Winter of 1948. It was found on a map developed by the Vermont Development Commision in that article. Further details are unknown.
