The County Ski Tow

Fort Kent, ME
Years operational unknown
Thanks to Dave Hilton, we first heard of this area that operated in Fort Kent. This was not Lonesome Pines (which is still open). This area does not appear in any listings that we have.

By this picture from Dave, we can tell it had a lodge, at least two rope tows, and a few slopes.

Jim Page says:

"The picture and listing of "county tow ~ Fort Kent" was of a ski area operated by the Pelletier family during the 1950s. The picture is from the 50s. It had two rope tows powered by farm tractors. It was located about 5 miles east of Fort Kent on route 1. I skied there during my high school years."

Does anybody else remember this lost area?
