Day 4 - Jan 24
Alta and Olympic Park

After a day of great talks yesterday, we hit Alta today. Alta is an incredible mountain...with tons of snow, friendly staff, and the most impressive views we've ever seen.

At the base of the area is a transfer rope tow...here it is...not like any we've seen!

As part the Congress, we had a guided tour...mostly just the three of us and our guide, Brian. He took us to all these secret stashes. We skied these steep opens, and Suzy's Trees on right.

We also met Alan Engen, son of ski legend, Alf Engen.

After skiing at Alta, we got a tour of the Olympic park, and got to see the jumps, bobsled/luge tracks. We also got to see the media building...here it is! In 2 weeks this will be full of worldwide media personnel.

Jeremy is heading home tomorrow...Chris and Betsy get one more day in.
