Thanks to Duncan Fordyce, we now know of this private tow that operated in Pound Ridge. Here are his details:
A rope tow (undoubtedly private) appears to have operated off West Lane at some point in the past. I "discovered" this lost ski area while running a mini marathon with my daughter about 25 years ago. A simple sign: "Ski Tow" was all that I was able to see. Subsequent attempts to find out more about it have met with some skepticism on the part of the current residents! I returned there about three weeks ago, for the first time in well over 20 years, and even the enigmatic sign is now missing.
